Why we made the kit
Less planning. More us time.
Our Date Kit exists for the moment when both people want to connect but neither person has the energy to turn a giant list into a real plan.
I often struggled to plan dates with my partner. I wanted our time together to feel meaningful, but the tools and ideas I found online rarely felt applicable to us. There were plenty of suggestions; finding something that fit our relationship was the harder part.
That frustration became the starting point for Our Date Kit. I wanted to create the tools I had been looking for: useful, thoughtful ways to plan a date, express affection, and make room for each other.
My aim is to offer original ideas and practical tools with a distinct point of view—not simply another list to scroll through. Couples are different, and a suggestion should leave room for the people using it. I hope this kit helps you spend less time searching and more time making a moment your own.
A date tool should get out of the way quickly. That is why the homepage gives one plan with clear steps, the note generator starts with a real detail, and the question tool asks both people to answer.
We do not score relationships, offer therapy, or pretend an algorithm knows your partner. We make small browser tools that remove a little friction around paying attention to each other.
Private by design
The personal parts of a date night are not raw material for our servers. Tool inputs and generated results stay in your browser, and no account is required. We use privacy-conscious page measurement, but never send names, note text, preferences, answers, or generated results to Google Analytics.
Built for real nights
Real nights have budgets, time limits, weather changes, long distances, tired people, and plans that need to be flexible. The generator prioritizes those constraints. A 30-minute date that both people enjoy is better than an ambitious plan neither person wants to start.

What creates a result?
Date plans and questions come from fixed libraries. The date matcher gives more weight to budget and setting than mood or energy, and explains when a suggestion is only a close match. The note tool combines pre-written phrases with the details you enter; no live AI service receives your inputs.
How was the content made?
Our Date Kit was developed with AI assistance, including drafting and editing content. These suggestions are not presented as personally tested experiences, professional relationship advice, or customer reviews. Software checks help catch missing fields and broken flows; they do not prove that a date will suit you.
What should you check?
Budget ranges are illustrative US-dollar estimates for two. Free versions assume you already own the supplies. Check local prices, opening hours, weather, transport and access before choosing an outing. Agree on dietary needs, comfort and available energy together. Either person can adapt or skip any suggestion.
Sources and corrections
The calendar links the sources for its observances and distinguishes informal dates from regional traditions. Activity instructions and note examples are suggestions, not factual accounts of dates we attended. Examples involving people are fictional.
